About Marty

Marty has had a long and successful career in the book and publishing industry. He worked for several large Canadian retailers and publishing companies in senior marketing positions before he founded Fairmount Books Inc., a large national book distribution company that marketed books to independent and major retailers and mass merchandisers in Canada, the US, and 35 countries abroad. A past nominee of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Award, Marty has walked the walk of building an organization from the ground up.

Coaching

Marty’s approach has always been to coach and mentor his staff so they grow personally and professionally, to be the best they can be. His goal was to empower people to develop their inner strengths to achieve their goals. Marty is certified by CCF (Certified Coaches Federation). He has a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology.

Now retired from Fairmount Books, Marty has been working for eight years, with individuals, as a business and life coach, helping them overcome their obstacles and develop a strong pathway to success and personal growth.

As your coach my only goal is to help you succeed with your personal or professional growth.
